WAZIRABAD (18 September 2025) – Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated yet another electric bus project, this time in Wazirabad, expanding the province’s clean and modern public transport system.
The CM personally boarded one of the newly introduced air-conditioned e-buses from Gakhar Mandi bus stop, where she was welcomed by enthusiastic crowds.
Key Features of the Wazirabad E-Bus Project
The project introduces 15 eco-friendly electric buses equipped with modern facilities to ensure comfort, safety, and convenience for passengers:

Wi-Fi & Charging Ports: Every seat comes with USB charging options and internet access.

Women-Only Section: Each bus includes a dedicated women’s compartment for safe and respectful travel.

CCTV Surveillance: Installed for security and to prevent harassment.

To support the service, three dedicated charging stations have been established across Wazirabad, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
